Work Experience in Bali!

I found out today that I've been accepted to do a couple of weeks of work experience with Grounds Kent Architects in Bali! I've admired the resort designs of Grounds Kent for a while now so I'm absolutely thrilled!

Backpack!

My new backpack arrived today! 65L Caribee Akula with detachable daypack. Bargain from eBay. Opted to buy a new one rather than take my hybrid backpack/trolley I took last time.. waaay too heavy/bulky.


Exciting!

Last minute preparations

2 weeks 5 days. Good and a bad thing. Good because in 2 weeks I'll be on a beach, bad because I only have 2 weeks to get everything organised!!

Still waiting for my new backpack to arrive (bought on eBay for very cheap price). And the 16GB SD card I also purchased via eBay. Have to go and get passport photos so I can arrange my Indian visa. Typhoid injection on Tuesday. Giving my 2 weeks notice at the cafe tomorrow, and have to chase them up about my group certificate so I can get my tax return done before I leave (I need the money!!). One year in hospitality is definitely enough for me. Draining my soul. Also have to book a few more flights, buy my travel insurance, pack and move out of my room here!! Oh oh oh and get my portfolio pretty much done for entry to Monash Architecture!

Next adventure will be Indonesia, India, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and will last 4 months!
